the pain of working on trumpets

Well today I had the awsome priviledge of experiencing a new type of pain. I was getting ready to unsolder the bell of a trumpet so that I could get to the gold mine of dents. In doing so I forgot that the piece of brass which I grabbed with my index finger was around 150 F. Anyway, if you ever want to know what it feels like to have a finger that is quickly shrinking away do this and you will never forget.

The wonderful life of COLLEGE

Well as most of you young people know who are in college, life can get pretty gnarly at times. Although I must say I'm extremely thankful because the class which I'm in is not that bad (so my prof who is a christian says). As this interesting adventure comes to an end I have thouroughly enjoyed the new freinds which I have made, even if they have different religious beliefs. And on that note I've found that it's not my responsibility to fix everyone, in a matter in fact it's never our responsibility to change somebody it's only God's work through us that can change a person.
